Conference
What is the purpose of SALT Conference?
As Chi Alpha, it is our mission to see university students reconciled with Christ and through their lives to see the transformation of the university, the marketplace, and the world. SALT '27 is going to focus on empowering university students to live forever loving God, forever in His church, forever set apart, and to forever make disciples in the marketplace, both in the US and around the world. You don't want to miss this!
Where is the conference?
SALT '27 is being held at the breathtaking Ridgecrest Conference Center. Ridgecrest is located 15 miles east of Asheville, North Carolina, on Interstate 40 at Exit 66. It is approximately 30 miles from the Asheville Regional Airport.
The address is 1 Ridgecrest Drive Black Mountain, NC 28711.

Who can attend the conference?
SALT '26 is hosted by the Southeast Region of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, U.S.A. and is open to college students connected to XA groups in our region. Housing, Dining, and Facilities
How do I request roommates?
Students and single missionaries may request roommates during the registration process. There is space to create and enter a roommate "code" on the registration page. As long as everyone uses the same "code," we will do our best to get all of the desired roommates together in a bunk room. Example: "fsuguys" "gonoles"
If a code isn't used then roommates will be placed according to your campus, your state, and then at random.
When will I find out who I am rooming with?
It's a surprise! You'll find out either at registration or when you see them in your room.
Can I stay off site?
No one may stay off site at SALT '27. The only exception is if you have a housing need that we can not accommodate on site. If you believe this is the case, please, send us a detailed message using the form below. There is a fee associated with staying off site.
What are the rooms like?
Students will be staying in twin bunk bed style rooms and will share a bathroom with their roommates.
XA missionaries, AGWM missionaries, and approved vendors that are single or coming alone will have the option to stay in a bunk room with other non-students or alone in a king room (similar to a common hotel room).
Married couples will stay in double queen rooms (similar to a common hotel rooms). If they have kids, they will stay in the same room and purchase adjoining rooms, if necessary.
There will be no roommates in double queen rooms unless they are family.
